Course overview
The course entitled "Social psychology and change management: diagnosis and intervention " is designed to train psychologists specialized in change management at the individual, organizational or institutional level. It aims to develop the ability of graduates to mobilize the theoretical models and methodologies of social psychology to develop and master intervention and change management approaches in three major areas of social life: work (professional integration or management of psychosocial risks), public health (health education and prevention of risk behaviours) and citizenship (prevention of discrimination and promotion of social inclusion).

Entry requirements
Admission to the first year of the Master's program is selective, the admission criteria and capacity are defined by the university.
Selection process: Recruitment based on the candidate's application file followed by an interview for the candidates selected at the end of the first stage of the application process.
Compulsory prerequisite: validation of a degree in psychology (see regulations on the title of psychologist).
Application process
- Selected admission- Student intake capacity in the different modules of the study field: 15 available spaces.
- Application file submission on the eCandidat platform from April, 26 to May, 17 2021
- Student recruitment based on application file.
The Education Committee will assess the previous academic achievements of the candidates as well as the logical connection between the previous educational fields and the chosen programme. It will also assess the motivation of the candidate and the logical connection with his/her project.
Tuition fees
The administrative registration includes the payment of the Student Life and Campus Life Contribution (CVEC) and the payment of registration fees. Details can be found on the training portal.
Course structure
Teaching takes place on site within the premises of the Psychology faculty; the master students in 1st and 2nd years share the same teaching room.
Classroom study altenating with weeks of placement training.

The training is organized in 4 semesters (30 credits per semester).
The structure of the training is the same, regardless of the standard course chosen.
Master 1 Semester 1
- Transversal theoretical approaches, 90h-10 credits (teaching units shared between the 5 courses)
- Theories and models, 80h - 12 credits
- Research methodology, 50h - 8 credits (Teaching units shared between the 5 courses)
Master 1 Semester 2
- Professional methodology, 60h - 4 credits (Teaching unit shared between the 5 courses)
- Specialized unit, 80h - 8 credits
- Research study work, 100h - 10 credits

Master 2 Semester 1
- Methodology, practices and techniques, 90h - 15 credits (teaching units shared between the 5 courses)
- Theories and models*, 80h - 15 credits (Change and citizenship; promotion and management of diversity, fight against discrimination; environment and public policies - ecological behaviours)
Master 2 Semester 2
- Psychological practices: change and work, 80h - 5 credits: Human relations and work: human resources function, labour law, employment and skills planning management -GPEC (provisional management of employment and skills-, company management, organizational theories; training and integration: training engineering, skills assessment, recruitment techniques).
- Psychological practices: change and health, 80h - 5 credits: Promotion and prevention of health behaviours; accompanying change in the field of occupational health: psychosocial risks and safety at work, organizational justice and psychosocial risks
- Preparation for professional integration and research, 30 hours - credits: none, shared between the 5 courses.
- Internship and thesis, 330h - 20 credits
Internships and placements
In the 1st year of the Master's program: mandatory annual internship of 200 hours and 20 hours of supervised work (teaching unit - 8 credits).
In the 2nd year of the Master's program: mandatory annual internship of 300 hours and 30 hours of supervisied work (Teaching unit Thesis and internship - 20 credits).
Coursework and assessment
In 1st and 2nd year: final exams, written and oral exams, reports and dissertations with oral defence.
